After successfully completing my studies in human medicine at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin, I finished my training as medical specialist for plastic and aesthetic surgery at the Martin Luther Hospital Berlin. It was here that I gained experience in all areas of plastic surgery.
The aesthetic aspect of plastic surgery was a core element of my specialist medical training from the beginning. I particularly focused on facial surgery. I have been supplementing this surgically aesthetic area with the conservative aesthetic therapy of Botox and hyaluronic acid injections since 2011.
Furthermore, during my professional training I have performed complex breast reconstructions, amongst others by means of micro-surgical anastomoses, as well as treating peripheral nerve compression syndromes, reconstructing nerves and looking after hand surgery emergencies.
Within the scope of my basic surgical training, I was also able to gain sound knowledge of general and abdominal surgery, trauma surgery and orthopaedics.
It was soon after my licence to practise medicine at the Charité – Universitätsmedizin Berlin in 2008, that I pursued the goal to be working in plastic surgery, and gained wide-ranging experience in this area, amongst others with work placements in New York and Seoul.
In order to be able to continue to offer state-of-the-art surgical methods and ensure a highest possible quality standard, I regularly attend national and international congresses.
